About
Pam’s HarvestCraft expands Minecraft’s farming and cooking with 80 crops, six harvestable garden bushes, 50 fruit- or item-bearing trees, 19 fish, and more than 1,400 food items and other items. Its crops include cotton for string, and bushes can be picked up or allowed to spread; fish can be caught with a standard fishing rod. Simple beekeeping adds candle blocks, wax and honey blocks, hardened leather armor, and wax that can be used as fuel. The Presser turns materials into resources such as honey, bubbly water, bait, and paper, while ground and water traps use bait to catch resources. A Market lets players buy seeds, saplings, farm-animal spawn eggs, and bonemeal for emeralds, while a Shipping block lets them sell crops, fish, meats, and beekeeping items for emeralds. Players plant crops using the crop items themselves, can right-click to harvest and replant crops including vanilla crops, and can make vegetarian or vegan recipes with tofu meat substitutes. The mod also adds placeable cake blocks, a Well block that improves the appearance of infinite water sources, and fresh versions of water and milk buckets for recipes. Vanilla food restoration values are rebalanced, and configuration options let players adjust the mod’s behavior, including whether to use that food balance.
