About
Urban Decor is a decorative mod for furnishing builds with distinctive appliances and household details, favoring materials beyond wood and avoiding generic tables and chairs. Its appliance range includes kitchen and laundry fixtures such as ovens, stoves, microwaves, fridges, freezers, washers and dryers, alongside sinks, showers, bathtubs, cupboards, filing cabinets, air conditioners, radiators and vending machines. Many appliances offer light and dark or other variants and interactive features, including opening storage, water effects from working showers and sinks, and seating on items such as chairs, booths and bathtubs. Materials help define the collection: Chromite forms in deepslate and is used to make stainless steel, while Polyanthous flowers in six colors provide ingredients for polypropylene and colored wraps for appliances. A toolbox can both store items and switch appliances to alternate variants, and towels can be placed on walls or hung from towel bars. The mod also adds clocks that display and track the time, a calendar that shows elapsed days and the in-game year, and decorative pieces such as picture frames, lamps, signs, pianos and dolls. Dolls have 13 built-in textures and pose variants, can be displayed on a player's head, and can be customized with a sewing machine; datapacks can also define additional dolls.
