Turn every village into a living RPG hub.

Village Quest turns villages into connected RPG hubs where players take daily, weekly, story, and special quests from Questmasters, earn reputation and ranks, and build lasting village bonds through local work. Settlements develop distinct Granary, Forge, Pasture, Apiary, or Archive identities, and can progress from Known to Trusted and Allied as players complete requests and permanent village projects. Players connect villages with persistent trade routes, where merchant caravans and ocean ferries travel, incidents unfold, and route upgrades and specializations shape the network. A six-chapter story about trust, restoration, and travel leads from studying villages to recovering the Broken Heartstone and awakening the first Wayshrine; players can then build a personal fast-travel network between connected villages, with guest travel available to other players. The illustrated Guild Atlas tracks long-term progress through the Guild Path, eight permanent Charter projects, and five parallel Trust disciplines, while the Guild Notice Post offers local deliveries that can improve Wayshrine fares, charges, and cooldowns. Village prosperity adds investments in the Apiary, Forge, Market, Pasture, and Road Watch, with three permanent ranks, village services, trade benefits, Pilgrim commissions, and a ledger for tracking the economy. The project also includes village-identity stories and cross-village commissions, plus a prestige collection with caravan liveries whose colors appear across the merchants, route map, and minimap. Multiplayer features include quest parties, shared guild projects, and guest commissions that can use another guild member’s villages without creating permanent routes.

No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 2 of its 4 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code, images and assets
The author declares AI code and assets on Modrinth.
ChatGPT is named in the images in its files.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Village Quest in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 4 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 3 points.
