Compatibility patches between voxy and other mods
47.8 of the 55 points that apply = 87 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Voxy Make it Compatible adds optional patches that help Voxy’s distant terrain work alongside other mods, activating each patch only when its target mod is installed. It extends vanilla, Atmospherics, or Better Fog across the distant terrain, with options to coordinate fog distance and, when both fog mods are present, use Atmospherics for colour and Better Fog for distance and shape. Cloud patches extend Simple Clouds and Better Clouds to Voxy’s horizon, place clouds behind distant mountains, and allow Better Clouds to add up to two extra cloud layers above and below its own. For the terrain transition, the mod closes the missing-chunk ring at the handoff, restores terrain detail after Voxy’s geometry buffer fills, and fixes dark distant tree canopies while keeping grass, flowers, and crops visible on nearby distant terrain. It also matches Big Water’s fluid-texture scale in distant water and can populate Xaero’s World Map from terrain Voxy has stored. Sable ships can remain visible and loaded up to 32 chunks away, while LittleTiles blocks can be omitted from distant terrain or shown only above a chosen fill percentage, helping prevent cables from appearing as solid blocks.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: World renderingChanges 2 game code files in this area: drawing the terrain, sky, clouds and weather. and Rendering and graphicsChanges 2 game code files in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
