vtubruh LOTR Mobs is a Lord of the Rings-themed RPG mod that adds creatures, locations, equipment, quests, and other playable content to Minecraft. Its central ring mechanic lets players build up levels of invisibility, with the ring’s appearance shader changing during use and Nazgûl arriving at certain levels; at level 17, the weakened Witch-king of Angmar can appear as a boss. The mod adds a Fell Beast that can be tamed and ridden, with special abilities, as well as four colors of Warg puppies found in Isengard that players can raise and take into battle. Players can encounter two kinds of Ents, take several Ent quests, climb Treebeard, and see a scene depicting the Ents joining the battle against Isengard. Other enemies include three Uruk-hai and dozens of orc variations with different skins and equipment, alongside Saruman as a boss. Equipment and crafting content includes six armor sets, three orc weapons, two shields, Saruman’s staff, a special forge, and new crafting items. A notice board offers two quest lines, while achievements and three in-game reference books cover a basic guide, creatures, and crafting and magic. The project also includes an Isengard dimension built around a detailed map, plus an improved Hobbit structure and paintings.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 17 blocks, 316 items, 218 entities, 2 biomes, 1 dimension, 7 recipes, 12 advancements, 3 loot tables, 37 sounds and 8 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
