Witchcraft Origins expands Origins with witch origins built around distinct spells, mana systems, passive abilities, and weaknesses. Flame Witches cast volleys of fireballs and dash with an explosion, but overusing spells can make them overheat and combust; they resist fire and lava yet are vulnerable to water and rain. Flower Witches draw small effects such as regeneration or strength from different flowers, and can spend all their mana to grow plants and flowers around them; their mana regenerates near flowers. Ember Witches have a steadier, weaker take on Flame Witch magic, with fire resistance, mana that regenerates over time, and lava-based healing that consumes mana. Moon Witches can fly and channel a long-range beam that explodes and inflicts wither, while also seeing in darkness and avoiding fall damage; their power comes with reduced health and a curse against daylight. Sun Witches are the Moon Witches' counterpart, with flight, increased melee damage, and fall-damage immunity, balanced by reduced health and a curse against daylight. The Witches of the Tides can push themselves forward with tide manipulation and attack with a ray of boiling water; they breathe underwater, see in deep-water darkness, swim well, and break blocks underwater as they do on land, but are vulnerable to fire. Underworld Witches wield death-dependent soul magic: they can corrupt enemies to weaken and harm them over time, then kill a target whose soul they have corrupted. Practitioners of black magic are shunned by villagers and cannot sleep, reflecting the costs attached to Underworld Witchcraft.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
2 of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download them from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 2 of its 4 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Mods that modpacks often add together with Witchcraft Origins. Share: how many of the modpacks with Witchcraft Origins also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
