    About

    Zombienation expands Minecraft’s zombies with humanoid and animal variants, giving them distinct appearances, voices and abilities; examples include the chesthead, hazmat zombie, zombie warrior, zombie miner and zombie bear. Some variants have specialized traits: the chesthead is blind but has absorption, the hazmat zombie is immune to potions, and the frozen lumberjack is especially tough but slow. Zombies can track players by loud sounds or by the placement or breaking of light sources, and in feral mode they attack any non-undead entity. A zombie virus can kill and transform an infected player after three days unless they find Antizombine, its only cure. Flexible spawn and loot settings let players configure most zombies, including whether the chesthead can drop random loot. The mod also adds dangerous but rewarding structures to explore, including a well that appears ordinary above ground but conceals a threat below.
