A prehistoric world where you can tame dinosaurs and build a park.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 17 graded mods, 12 are graded A or B, 5 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 13 months ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
Dinosaurs: Extinction Park is a dinosaur-focused Minecraft modpack that combines hardened survival with archaeology and prehistoric creature care. Players unearth fossils and bones, extract DNA, create embryos and eggs, and use this process to bring prehistoric animals back to life. Its 60-plus creatures include dinosaurs such as T-rexes, raptors, and spinosauruses, as well as mammoths, smilodons, terror birds, and dodos; creatures can be tamed and ridden. The pack is designed to be lightweight and optimized, and includes shader support.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 路 Forge, 4 Oct 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked all 18 mods, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 18 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 16 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
2 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
