About
Distant Horizons Pack with Solas Shader is a terrain-focused modpack designed for seeing and exploring expansive Minecraft landscapes with an extended view distance and cinematic visuals. Distant Horizons uses level-of-detail rendering to show terrain, mountains, and structures far beyond ordinary view distances, while Tectonic creates taller mountains, deeper valleys, and broader plains. Terralith adds diverse biomes and landscapes, including mountain ranges, lush valleys and plateaus, forests, deserts, and coastlines. The Solas Shader brings realistic sunlight and shadows, volumetric lighting and fog, detailed skies and clouds, sunsets, and reflective water, supporting atmospheric exploration as well as cinematic screenshots and videos.
