A recreation of the Fallout series.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 11 graded mods, 3 are graded A or B, 2 C and 6 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Fallout: A New Dawn turns Minecraft into a post-apocalyptic journey inspired by the Fallout series, with Mojave-style scenery and sprawling abandoned cities to explore. The cities and surrounding world contain loot and dangers, while Fallout-inspired dungeons and bunkers offer further encounters with enemies and rewards. Players can find armor such as NCR Ranger and Raider gear, several types of power armor, and weapons ranging from military firearms to the Super Sledge and laser rifles. Hostile creatures include Deathclaws, Mirelurks, Protectrons, and Super Mutants, and the pack also features explosives from grenades and satchel charges to nuclear warheads. A configuration option lets players choose which mobs can spawn naturally.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 5 Feb 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 10 of its 11 mods, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of 10 of its 11 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 4 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
7 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
