Project: Vibrant Journeys enhances vanilla survival by adding environmental detail and exploration content while keeping the familiar style of the game intact. Its world generation scatters groundcover such as rocks, twigs, fallen leaves, bones, pinecones, and seashells across biomes, with multiple randomly varied models for most groundcover and tree-specific variants for leaves and twigs. Biomes gain details including tall and short grass, fallen trees, bark mushrooms, cobwebs beneath leaves, and Nether flora; lakes and rivers can feature seagrass, cattails, and lily pads, while beaches gain sea oats, seashells, and beach grass. The mod also adds distinct landscapes, including redwood forests and peaks, prairies, willow swamps, boreal forests, aspen groves, overgrown spires, and blossoming fields; baobab fields can be enabled in the configuration. New trees include willow, mangrove, palm, coast and sequoia redwood, fir, pine, aspen, maple, baobab, cottonwood, and juniper, with matching wood-building pieces such as planks, doors, fences, and boats. Caves vary by biome: desert caves can be lined with sandstone, snowy caves can contain packed ice and icicles, and jungle or swamp caves can be overgrown with vines; stalactites and stalagmites also appear in some caves. Exploration can uncover abandoned farms in plains and prairies, as well as forest ruins in stone, abandoned-house, and abandoned-birch-house forms, each with a loot chest. Ruined Nether portals receive soul-sand, basalt, warped, and crimson variants, and Nether plants include glowing glowcaps, rare bloodnettle, and witherweed that causes withering when broken. Wild crops add foraging to the landscape: wheat grows in prairies, carrots in cold biomes, potatoes in plains, and beetroots in some forest biomes. Added wildlife ranges from passive snails, fireflies, clams, starfish, and ducks to grizzly bears, coyotes, ghosts, and hostile creatures such as shades, skeletal knights, ice cubes, goons, and snowy-biome banshees. New building and lighting options include limestone, siltstone, marble, basalt, adobe, cobblestone brick, chimneys that emit smoke from nearby fires or furnaces, and lanterns, candles, and lamps. The mystical grill can turn food into a version with random beneficial potion effects, using a cauldron, a heat source, netherwart, and unstable essence.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: World generationChanges 1 game code file in this area: terrain, biomes and structures made when new land is created. and Blocks and fluidsChanges 1 game code file in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work..
Adds 65 blocks, 1 item and 37 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
