Face an ancient society of hostile mobs and bosses.

Forbidden Island Modpack is a Minecraft challenge pack made for a custom Forbidden Island map, though it can also be played without that map. Its central addition is the Forbidden, an ancient society whose members defend their land from trespassers, set within a jungle-themed setting alongside Mowzie’s Mobs. The Forbidden include shadow-shooting Archers, hard-hitting dual-axe Berserkers, quick dagger-wielding Assassins, flying Mystics that fire magic blasts, and armored Warriors with spears and shields. Molten Cubes are flying creatures of molten rock, while the bosses include the arrow-resistant Jungle Golem, the lava-spilling Molten Boulder, and the Forbidden King, who wields a Staff of Power. The additions also include Forbidden armor, a sword, and a staff, plus recipes that use Forbidden Bones and Sacred Plants for a Forbidden Potion or armor, and Molten Fragments to craft a full armor set.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 12 Nov 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 12 Nov 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 8 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 8 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 7 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
1 mod is not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
