A modpack that helps your game run faster with better graphics.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 8 graded mods, 8 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 3.6 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.4. See the mods
Performance+ Extended is a client-side performance and graphics modpack designed to improve play while remaining usable with different worlds and servers. It adds shader support, and its performance-focused components include Iris for shaders and rendering, Lithium for reducing single-player server workload, and Starlight for faster lighting calculations. Memory use is addressed by Hydrogen and FerriteCore, while Entity Culling and Cull Leaves avoid rendering some unseen entities and unnecessary leaf faces. Other included optimizations target clustered experience orbs, bed rendering, startup initialization, animation fading, and reduced resource use when Minecraft runs in the background. The pack describes compatibility research as part of its approach to avoiding conflicts between performance mods.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.4 · Fabric, 20 Mar 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 8 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 8 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 8 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
