Everything you need to build a city, from roads to traffic lights.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 6 graded mods, 6 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 26.1.2. See the mods
Saro's City is a pre-configured collection of Saro's city-building mods for creating urban builds and running roleplay servers with an economy. For roads, it combines asphalt blocks with slope and stair variants, sidewalks, guardrails, street lights, road markings, and planning and painting tools, making roads and ramps that follow terrain easier to build. Its road-sign set includes 94 blocks covering speed limits, warnings, directions, city entrances, and points of interest such as hotels and hospitals; traffic lights can be configured and cycled with redstone, and players can add their own sign packs. The economy supports currency, bank accounts, and ATMs, while the pack’s interactive blocks can run commands when clicked, touched, or activated by redstone. Saro's Essentials adds multiplayer commands and management features, rounding out the pack for both singleplayer city projects and roleplay servers.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 4 Jun 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 2 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 6 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 6 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 6 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its description and found none.
We have not read its changelogs, files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
