A modpack that makes joining and using the Aether server easier.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 6 graded mods, 6 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
The Aether Official Server Modpack is an optional companion pack for OATS, The Aether Project’s active survival server, where players can play and test The Aether together. It makes server features such as homes and chunk claims easier to use through the Project Odyssey mods, and provides configured keybinds for those mods and optional voice chat. Players can use server commands for teleporting, warping, and setting homes, alongside party and guild systems, chat linked with The Aether Project Discord, and a browser-accessible world map. A custom main-menu button offers a direct way to join the server, while CraftPresence is configured with server-related icons and images.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 6 Oct 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 15 Apr 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 7 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 7 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 7 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its description and found none.
We have not read its changelogs, files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
