    About

    Kal's Grimdark Tools is a resource pack that replaces Minecraft’s tool, weapon, and selected item textures with more detailed designs inspired by dark fantasy, suited to medieval worlds while remaining usable alongside vanilla blocks or another builder’s pack. It covers tools across the wooden, stone, iron, golden, diamond, and netherite material tiers, with weapon and tool variants including broadswords, daggers, katanas, odachi, spears, glaives, greatswords, hatchets, halberds, pitchforks, mattocks, warhammers, sickles, and greatscythes. Shield designs range from bucklers, heaters, towers, and rondels to material-based options, while bows include recurve, shortbow, yumi, and greatbow styles as well as material-based variants. Where supported, players can select a variant by renaming a tool or weapon at an anvil to include its variant identifier; items without one retain the standard texture. The pack focuses on tools and item textures rather than armor or broader world textures, so it can be paired with other resource packs for those elements.
