About
Kal's Grimdark Armor is a resource pack of more than 40 detailed armor sets inspired by dark fantasy, designed to suit medieval worlds while keeping familiar armor materials recognizable. It replaces armor and apparel textures, including horse armor and elytra, and can be paired with another builder's pack or used alongside vanilla blocks. With OptiFine, armor can use Light, Heavy, Royal, Samurai, Pirate, or Hidden variants, selected by including the variant name in the item's name at an anvil; unmarked items keep the standard texture. Elytra have Wooden, Chainmail, Iron, Golden, Diamond, and Netherite textures, and leather armor also has a Sylvan style.
