New AE2 Textures Backport is a resource pack that brings the newer look of Applied Energistics 2 to its older 1.12.2 version, refreshing textures for blocks, items, and machine interfaces. Its updates cover ME controllers, blocks and slabs, quartz, vibration chambers, cell workbenches, panels and terminals, processors, cards, circuits, assemblers, energy cells, fabrication modules, interfaces, cables, Spatial IO, and P2P tunnels, as well as quartz seeds and growth accelerators. Some textures are adapted to fit the older version’s block shapes; the pack also includes 3D ME Drives and a new Inscriber texture, and supports AE2 Stuff and AE2 Additions.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
Has files for 3 other mods: Appliedenergistics2, Aeadditions and Ae2stuff.
Textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 256 by 256.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
