The fancy new water from the Update Aquatic comes to older versions.

Ocean Water is a resource pack that brings the Update Aquatic’s water appearance to older Minecraft versions, allowing players to use the new water look without leaving their existing modded setup. With OptiFine, water changes color by biome: it is murky green in swamps, navy blue in frozen rivers, dark blue in cold beaches and snowless taiga, and bright blue elsewhere. A separate vanilla version is also available; its water color is consistent across biomes except in swamps.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8.8 to 1.12.2.
Changes 2 block textures (Water flow and Water still).
In OptiFine's formats: custom colors.
Block textures are mostly 24 by 24 pixels, up to 32 by 32. 2 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found

We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
