Pack focused on exploration, magic, and agriculture.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 311 graded mods, 96 are graded A or B, 52 C and 163 D to F. Its last update came out 2 months ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Magiculture 2 is a modpack built around exploration, magic, and agriculture, with a lighter selection of technology and industry. Exploration ranges across a customized Biome Bundle world, Biomes O’ Plenty, Roguelike Dungeons, the Twilight Forest, the Nether, and expanded caves with custom ore veins, treasure, and mob spawns. A Better Questing guide introduces the pack’s mods through goals that award experience, while a loose story gives explorers a reason to venture into the world. Character growth combines experience-based skills with a class system: players choose a profession in agriculture, adventuring, or engineering and a magic discipline in druidity, artificing, or occultism, with additional classes available through prestige. Players can pursue farming and sell crops and animal products, explore and fight monsters, or develop as a spellcaster or engineer; trading has expanded modded offerings, and coins from combat can be spent at villages. The magic selection includes Astral Sorcery, Botania, Electroblob’s Wizardry, Blood Magic, Thaumcraft, Roots Classic, Embers Rekindled, and Bewitchment, while agriculture features Rustic, Animania, Agricraft, and Pam’s HarvestCraft. Immersive Engineering, Industrial Foregoing, Ender IO, and Thermal Foundation add industrial options, alongside building and furnishing mods such as Chisel, Blockcraftery, and MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod. Combat and survival are made more challenging with Rough Mobs, Tough as Nails, Hardcore Darkness, and Nutrients, which can reward varied diets with buffs and extra health. After completing the major profession and magic quests, players can find special creative spectrite gemstones and use them to craft creative items at high cost.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 12 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
5 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 10 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 318 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 316 of its 317 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 140 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
177 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
