Duck Origin is an Origins Mod datapack that lets you play as a duck, with Pehkui required for its size change. Its flight lets you steer and boost through the air, but boosting consumes hunger, flying causes exhaustion, and you cannot use rockets. In rivers, oceans, and swamps, you regenerate passively and can toggle enhanced vision underwater; you can also walk on the water’s surface, dive by sneaking, and swim faster, though you still need air underwater. The duck can deal extra damage with arrows and activate a dodge ability that grants three charges to negate incoming arrow damage, but it takes extra damage from arrows and sustained melee attacks. These abilities come with trade-offs: the duck moves slowly on land, takes double fire damage, has seven hearts and a one-block-tall body, and gets hungry faster while being unable to eat bread.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Runs no function files.
Does not change world generation.
Adds 1 tag and 10 more files in other folders.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
