Legendary Encounters adds survival-focused ways to find, summon, and battle legendary and mythical Pokémon in Cobblemon. At an active one-layer beacon, players can summon one of each legendary per world and player by holding the required materials, with some encounters also requiring a particular biome; advancements can show the conditions. Summonable encounters include Articuno in snowy plains, Moltres in basalt deltas, Zapdos, Mewtwo, Xerneas in dark forests, Rayquaza on the End's main island, and Iron Leaves in the End Highlands. Mew, Meloetta, Victini, Jirachi, and Marshadow instead appear as random, rare or ultra-rare encounters in specified biomes or, for Jirachi, anywhere in the Overworld at night. Players can also encounter Poipole in a purple dimension reached through Ultra Space, where Ultra Wormholes lead to dimensions for battling and capturing Ultra Beasts. Ancient altars and temples appear across the world, including in other dimensions, while Sky Islands offer secrets, NPCs, and quests to discover. After defeating or catching Rayquaza, players can find one-use underground Legendary Dungeons, sacrifice a Totem of Undying to face a previously encountered legendary, and seek a random legendary encounter through Legendary Raids. The Shady Villager appears after Rayquaza is defeated, sells items related to progression, and can provide special encounters with Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. Legendary encounters and dungeon summons can produce shiny Pokémon, with the stated odds of one in 8,125 for a legendary spawn and one in 4,097 for a dungeon summon.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Runs 184 function files: 7 every game tick and 2 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks and remove entities, items or data.
Changes world generation: 1 biome, 10 structures and 1 dimension.
Adds 14 advancements, 3 loot tables, 2 tags, 4 predicates and 9 more files in other folders.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's recipes, loot tables and other game data.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
