Generates vast continents, towering mountains, and deeper, more varied oceans.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Tectonic is a world-generation datapack that reshapes terrain into more varied, large-scale landscapes. Its land is organized into continent-sized masses thousands to tens of thousands of blocks wide, separated by smaller islands, while oceans become deeper and gain varied features such as overhangs and trenches. Vast mountain ranges can stretch for tens of thousands of blocks and rise toward the build limit, with rivers continuing through the mountains in winding underground channels and deeper lava tunnels appearing far below. Other distinctive terrain includes vegetation-covered jungle pillars, river-carved badlands canyons, isolated badlands plateaus, rolling desert dunes, and two- or three-tiered plateaus that sometimes have gentler ramps. Cherry groves and pale gardens can sit in valleys, while some forests, jungles, and taigas have low, pond-filled terrain; smooth rolling hills also appear in some plains, flower forests, and ice-spikes areas. The datapack is compatible with many biome mods that use Terrablender or Biolith, including Biomes O’ Plenty, Regions Unexplored, and Nature’s Spirit, and a standalone datapack version is available for compatibility with Terralith.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Runs no function files.
Changes world generation: terrain shape, decorations such as trees and ores and dimensions.
Adds 4 files in other folders.
Replaces 3 of vanilla Minecraft's world generation files.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
