Complementary Shaders Unbound is a configurable Minecraft shader pack that enhances the game’s visuals with detailed effects while aiming to remain unobtrusive during play and offer performance options from Potato to Ultra. Unbound is the pack’s more realism-oriented default style, while Reimagined offers a different look that preserves Minecraft’s distinctive visual character; both styles can be customized, including mixing choices such as blocky clouds or realistic water. Its effects cover almost every block, and documented visual features include dynamic lighting and shadows, bloom, water waves and reflections, rain puddles, fog, auroras, Nether heat refraction, underwater lighting, and material details such as emissive surfaces and parallax effects.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 37 shader programs, for the Overworld, the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English. Has programs for Distant Horizons and Voxy.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
An AI tool may have been used
GitHub Copilot (coding agent) took part in its pull requests.
This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
