    About

    Ager’s Amazing Mineshafts and Miner Companions adds large, varied underground mineshafts filled with ore deposits and new creatures, turning exploration into a mix of mining and danger. Rock Miners clear nearby stone and similar materials while leaving ores exposed, and they can place torches; sturdier Rock Drillers do the same work with better health and combat ability. Armoured Rock Drillers dig through deepslate and can break nearby obsidian, while resisting projectiles and fire; they explode when killed. Rock Miner Zombies are hostile miners that tunnel through weaker rock to reach players, villagers, or animals, so nearby homes may need stronger defenses. The shafts also shelter Obsidian Spiders, which place webs during combat, and Obsidian Bats, which awaken when disturbed or exposed to increased light and attack nearby players and tameable mobs.
