[Let's Do] Alpine Whispers gives Minecraft’s cold, mountainous regions a more detailed alpine character, combining reworked winter landscapes, wildlife, and building and decorating content inspired by traditional Central European homes. Snowy Plains and Groves gain Arolla Pines, gneiss boulders, frozen dirt, scattered gneiss slabs, layered snowdrifts, frost-covered grasses, and flowers such as Snow Gentian and Christmas Rose; Groves also receive their own drifting snowfall. Cold-biome fog grows denser, especially at night and during snowfall, while Groves can bring occasional distant avalanches; the snow fog can be adjusted or disabled in the client configuration. The new wildlife includes rideable Alpine Sheep, which can be sheared for Homespun Wool, and tameable Reindeer that carry a chest and can be ridden by two players. For building, the mod adds Arolla Pine wood and Alpine Gneiss stone sets, including bricks and mossy variants, as well as windows, furniture, and practical home fixtures. The furniture ranges from connected sofas and extendable tables to storage dressers and wardrobes that display armor, plus kitchen cabinets, counters, sinks, washbasins, and a fillable bathtub. Winter and festive details include hanging icicles, wreaths, softly glowing garlands, fairy lights, tree baubles, and a star topper, alongside small touches such as a shakeable snow globe.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: World renderingChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing the terrain, sky, clouds and weather. and Inventory and itemsChanges 1 game code file in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting..
A library packed inside it changes 6 more game code files: [Let's Do] Foundation.
Adds 70 blocks, 7 items, 2 mobs, 85 recipes, 9 advancements, 2 loot tables and 8 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
