A survival modpack where you gather supplies and build your skills.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 162 graded mods, 128 are graded A or B, 25 C and 9 D to F. Its last update came out 6 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Aged Light is a performance-conscious edition of the Aged survival modpack, trimming demanding visual effects while retaining its core gameplay and compatibility with the standard pack. Survival begins with gathering supplies and crafting flint tools, then expands through a progression from flint to copper, bronze, iron, and steel, with skills and attributes improved by earning experience and up to three jobs accelerating XP gain. Players must manage hydration by purifying water, maintain a varied diet, and adapt to temperature and seasonal changes that affect crops and travel. The world offers exploration, settlement and trading, with enemies that grow stronger with distance and height, more than six boss encounters, and structures including redesigned ancient cities, pillager outposts, strongholds, desert temples, jungle temples, and ocean monuments. Additional activities include filtering items through sieves, upgrading tools with gems, uncovering fossils and enchantments through archaeology, storing goods in drawers or portable backpacks, and decorating with furniture and expanded block sets.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 4 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 163 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 162 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 162 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
