Anima: Soul Magic is a magic and automation mod centered on researching forbidden soul magic, harvesting spirits, and building a workshop powered by souls. Progress through a hands-on laboratory process: grow crystals, work glass and Soulbone into apparatus and circuits, then experiment with world-specific soul-extraction sequences to discover how to capture spirits. Store spirits in a Soul Well, route them through relays, and use them to power 39 spells spanning healing, movement, combat, utility, and summoning; Benign, Infernal, and Ender souls support different magical effects. Research spells by exploring for encrypted books and translating them at a Research Table, then carry souls in Soul Gems for spells such as blinking across ravines, summoning soul lights, or animating an ally. Possession lets you view the world as a spirit with a Mirror, bind to creatures with a Soul Leash, or learn to move between eligible hosts, while leaving your own vulnerable body behind. You can also assemble a Workshop Golem, possess its powerful frame, and use it to fight, dig, carry persistent cargo, or operate machinery that requires a golem’s strength. Soul-powered workers can automate harvesting, gathering, breeding, shearing, forestry, block placement, and block breaking, with job preferences and connections to hoppers and redstone shaping how a workshop operates. Further progression includes reconstructing undead mobs, making altar offerings for themed enchantments, and performing soul infusions to craft Soulbone armor and Saronite; a Saronite Sword can capture eligible creatures’ souls directly into bottles. The later path leads to challenging a deity’s cosmic avatar in a three-phase boss fight, claiming its God Soul, and forging a Ring of Power that grants survival flight with dark feathered wings. Players can create gods with chosen blessings, curses, powers, offerings, symbols, shrine colors, and worship sounds, then raise shrines, make offerings, and use worship to travel between shrines, including across dimensions. Priests can bless followers and curse enemies with a Priest Rod, while a god that rises to the top of the Pantheon can provide powers such as summoning storms, restoring equipment, or reviving crops. The Necronomicon serves as an in-game guide to progression, recipes, spells, and structures, with projectable multiblock guides and 85 advancements marking discoveries.

Not checked yet
We have not checked its files for recent Minecraft versions yet.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We have not read its code yet
What it sends is not known yet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and sounds yet.
AI in the game: not checked yet
We have not read its code for AI yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
