Lightweight Forge mod that allows server owners to combat xrayers.
66.1 of the 71 points that apply = 93 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
AntiXray helps server owners deter x-ray cheating by obfuscating configured blocks in each world, making hidden ores harder for clients to identify. Engine mode 1 replaces fully enclosed hidden blocks with dimension-appropriate blocks, while modes 2 and 3 disguise hidden and replacement blocks as random blocks from the hidden-block list; mode 3 is designed to work better on slow connections. Server owners can configure the worlds and dimensions where it runs, the obfuscation mode and height, the distance around revealed blocks where obfuscation begins, and whether lava can obscure nearby blocks. The block lists are configurable: for example, the documented defaults target overworld ores and raw metal blocks, and Nether ores including ancient debris, quartz ore, and gold ore. Legitimate players generally should not notice the changes, though high latency or large bursts of block updates, such as explosions, can make them apparent.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 4 areas: Networking and multiplayerChanges 6 game code files in this area: connections, the server list and what is sent between your game and a server., Chunk loading and storageChanges 5 game code files in this area: how the game loads, tracks, saves and unloads chunks., Server and world logicChanges 2 game code files in this area: the world, commands, scoreboards, saved data and game rules. and PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with AntiXray ((Neo)Forge): their authors or the author of AntiXray ((Neo)Forge) say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as AntiXray ((Neo)Forge), so you only need one.
