Archeological expands Minecraft archaeology with new discoveries, decorative objects, and ruins that make exploration sites more rewarding and varied. Its structures include Rock Ruins, Ruined Camps, Ruined Huts, Desert Ruins, Wasteland Ruins, Frozen Ruins, Underground Ruins, and Deep Ruins, with small, medium, and large variants and loot themed to warm, temperate, cold, underground, or deep locations. Brushing newly added Remains found in gravel and suspicious sand yields useful materials and recovered goods, such as paper, books, leather, bones, arrows, ores, gems, and worn tools. The Archeology Table lets players process Remains for items and use Pottery, Stone, and Deepslate Templates to duplicate pottery sherds, Petroglyphs, and Dark Pieces, respectively. Exploration also uncovers 12 Petroglyph designs in underground ruins, along with Dark Pieces that can be made into glowable Dark Urns, mob-themed Idols such as Creeper and Villager designs, and expressive Statues. Runes found in suspicious blocks can be crafted into Runestones; charging a Runestone through five stages with Lapis Lazuli increases its brightness, then activates an effect such as Speed, Haste, Resistance, or Regeneration before resetting it. Rare Ancient Vaults occur in variations of the mod’s structures and open with an Ancient Key found in suspicious ruin blocks, yielding six items such as Remains or Aged Brick.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 235 blocks, 63 items, 31 structures, 294 recipes, 8 advancements, 10 loot tables and 7 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's block textures and 1 item texture.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
