    About

    Armor Expansion adds five armor sets whose special effects activate when the full set is worn. Lapis armor lets you breathe underwater and move and mine at your normal land speed while submerged; redstone armor makes you fireproof; quartz armor grants Haste III; and glowstone armor provides constant night vision. Emerald armor is stronger than diamond armor and grants increased punching strength when worn as a full set. The mod also adds tools made from its new ingots or emeralds: they can harvest anything iron tools can, break blocks faster than iron, and have durability and attack between stone and iron, with gold-level enchantability. Redstone, lapis, quartz, and glowstone dust can be smelted into ingots, which are used to craft the corresponding armor and tools with the usual recipes; emeralds can also be used for armor and tools.
