About
BuildCraft Energy adds the fuel and machinery used to generate power for BuildCraft, including oil fields in world generation and Redstone, Stirling, and Combustion Engines. The Redstone Engine produces low power for specialized consumers, while the Stirling Engine burns solid fuel and the Combustion Engine runs on liquid fuel. Oil can be refined into fuel, but refining requires BuildCraft’s Factory module or the separate BuildCraft Additions mod. Power can be carried through Kinesis pipes supplied by BuildCraft’s Transport module, with optional Redstone Flux pipes and configurable conversion between RF and Minecraft Joules.
