An expert-level tech-RPG modpack.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 367 graded mods, 143 are graded A or B, 64 C and 160 D to F. Its last update came out 2 months ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
MeatballCraft, Dimensional Ascension is an expert-level progression modpack that combines technology and automation with magic, combat, and exploration. Its quest-guided progression takes players from early survival, mining, and Tinkers’ Construct gear into dimension-hopping, machine building, power generation, and increasingly complex automation challenges. Exploration is tied to custom structures with useful loot and resources, while the pack’s many dimensions provide settings for further discovery and progression. Combat is part of the journey too: players gear up against hostile mobs, hunt dragons, and use weapons and builds suited to different encounters. The late-game challenge reaches into RFTools dimensions, where players face automation tasks at the upper end of modded complexity.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12 · Forge, 16 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 9 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 373 of its 374 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of 373 of its 374 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 3 of the 185 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
2 other mods show AI use only from after this release (16 Aug 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
189 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and code history and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
