A modpack where you explore magic, technology, and choose your own path.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 217 graded mods, 79 are graded A or B, 38 C and 100 D to F. Its last update came out 8.8 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
MagiTekkit is a Minecraft modpack intended to let players shape their own route through magic, technology, or a mixture of both, rather than forcing a single progression path. Its earlier description highlighted alchemy and spellcasting alongside mechanical invention, with mods including ProjectE, Immersive Engineering, Thermal Expansion, EnderIO, Tinkers’ Construct, and Cyberware. The pack is being revived and its creators say the new version will differ substantially from the earlier one, so those examples describe the previous version rather than confirming the current lineup.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 25 Dec 2017). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
4 files not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 226 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 225 of its 226 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 11 of the 112 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
114 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
