Cenozoicraft expands Minecraft’s early game with Cenozoic wildlife, prehistoric crafting, new environments, and decorative materials. Its animals include Mammoths, Smilodons, Thylacines, Gastornis, Kelenken, Paraceratherium, Woolly Rhinoceroses, Glyptodons, and Megaloceros, with behaviors ranging from skittish or defensive to aggressive; some can be tamed or ridden. Mammoth Steppes and bogs provide distinct habitats and resources: cold, open steppe with Larch trees, bone graveyards, and hide-and-bone homes, and wet, muddy bogs rich in peat, moss, and cranberries. Animals and scattered remains provide hides, bones, teeth, and unique skulls for crafting tools, armor, and decorative blocks, while cloudberries offer early food and help with taming or breeding some creatures. Knapping lets players shape flint or obsidian into weaponheads, and sinew made from leather can replace string in many recipes and bind weaponheads to sticks. The mod also includes pottery made through a Kick Wheel, with baked bowls for soup and stew and pots that can hold plants. Hunting spears can inflict bleeding, which causes erratic damage over time and leaves temporary blood splatters, while a Fishing Spear can be thrown into water in an attempt to catch fish.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 94 blocks, 74 items, 12 mobs, 3 biomes, 14 structures, 113 recipes, 9 advancements, 9 loot tables and 26 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
