Alex’s Caves expands the Overworld with six rare, expansive underground biomes: the Magnetic Caves, Primordial Caves, Toxic Caves, Abyssal Chasm, Forlorn Hollows, and Candy Cavity. Each biome has its own distinctive landscape, blocks, creatures, and mechanics, ranging from glowing crystals and magnetic machines in the Magnetic Caves to prehistoric dinosaurs in the bright Primordial Caves, acid pools and radioactive ruins in the Toxic Caves, and underwater ruins and deep-sea life in the ocean-bound Abyssal Chasm. The Forlorn Hollows is a lightless, hostile realm of Guanostone, cultists, and wraiths, while the Candy Cavity brings sweet landscapes, powerful foes, and Licowitch-made structures such as towers and Gingerbread Town. Other notable inhabitants include tameable flying Subterranodons, pack-hunting Vallumraptors, the trading Deep Ones, and dangerous bosses such as Tremorzilla and Hullbreaker. Exploration also leads to structures including Magnetic and Toxic Ruins, Caveman Houses, Tribal Campsites, Abyssal Ruins, Whalefalls, and Forlorn Huts and Bridges. To begin locating the rare caves, search for an Underground Cabin, where barrels can provide Cave Tablets and a Cave Compendium; the cabin also contains a Spelunkery Table for researching tablets into biome-specific Cave Codices. A word-guessing research minigame turns tablets into codices, which unlock the corresponding biome’s General, Resources, Inhabitants, and Utilities chapters in the Compendium or can be crafted into maps that search for that biome. The biomes also have carefully differentiated visual atmospheres, with effects such as distinct fog, brightness, light color, and ambient particles.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with Alex's Caves: their authors or Alex's Caves' author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Alex's Caves, so you only need one.
