Cobblemon: Extra Balls expands Cobblemon’s capture options with Poké Balls whose appearance, catch rate, or effects differ from standard balls. Dyed Balls recolor Poké, Great, and Ultra Balls in 16 Minecraft colors, with ancient-style variants, while weather balls adjust their catch rate to conditions such as clear skies, rain, or snow in frozen biomes. Other balls make capture more effective against Pokémon with particular battle stats, status conditions, or types: status balls offer a bonus for a matching condition, and type balls come in three tiers, from a weaker copper-friendly option to a more expensive, stronger one. Syphon Balls trade poorer capture odds for rewards, granting XP candies while resetting the captured Pokémon to level 1 and lowering its friendship; Royal Balls generate gems based on the Pokémon’s type, including an extra gem for a different Tera type. Move Balls teach a captured Pokémon a move from a TM, Move Tutor, or Egg move category, and the ball swapper lets players change a Pokémon’s caught ball by using up a replacement ball. The mod also includes old-style Poké Balls in three tiers and 16 dyeable colors, a creative-only Dark Ball with guaranteed capture and maximized IVs and ride stats at the cost of permanently setting friendship to zero, and a creative-only Clone Ball that copies a Pokémon without affecting the original or ending the battle. EV- and XP-syphoning potions provide additional ways to extract EVs or XP from Pokémon and turn them into corresponding items or rewards.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 5 items: Ball Swapper, Effort Syphoning Potion, Max IVs Candy (Permanent), No Speed IV Candy (Permanent) and Experience Syphoning Potion; 616 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 2 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 7 points.
