About
Cobblemon: Mega Showdown expands Cobblemon with Pokémon battle gimmicks, additional forms, and fusion Pokémon, while also providing a datapack platform for creators to add and customize content. Its mechanics include Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Terastallization, Dynamax and Gigantamax, Ultra Burst, and Primal Reversion. The mod supports a broad range of form changes, including origin forms for Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, Deoxys’s forms, Hoopa Unbound, Kyurem fusions, and Ash’s Greninja, as well as riding Pokémon. Players can use survival-obtainable items such as Mega Stones and the Mega Ring, Z-Crystals and a Z Ring, the Dynamax Band, and the Tera Orb to access these mechanics and transformations. Gimmick items can be equipped in dedicated Accessories slots, so they do not compete for slots with other accessories. For datapack creators, the mod supports custom Mega and Gigantamax forms, fusions, Pokémon types, form changes, gimmick items, and battle content such as moves, abilities, conditions, and weather effects.
