    Colds: Slimy Chunks adds slime-themed tools, items, equipment, and mechanics to Minecraft, including a craftable Slime Chunk Sensor that glows when you are inside a slime chunk; the sensor currently works only in single-player. A Slime Pad bounces entities into the air and can pick up players as they bounce, an effect you can switch off by right-clicking the pad; a redstone block beneath it doubles its bounce. Slime Carpet prevents fall damage when you land on it, and slimes may drop a full set of Slimy Armor with random enchantments. The armor can carry exclusive enchants: Ceiling Clinger lets the wearer stick to ceilings until they crouch, Wall Slider slows a fall when next to a solid block, Soft Fall negates fall damage, and Jump Boost grants Jump Boost II while worn. Other slime drops include Slimy Swords, weapon-like Slimy Rods, and a Slimy Shovel with Slime Hunter, which lets you dig up slimes in swamp biomes; slimes can also drop Slimy Apples, Slimy Sticks with strong knockback, and Slimy Gelatin. Slime Berry Bushes provide a renewable source of slime balls and can be harvested as they grow or accelerated with bone meal; the bushes themselves come from killing slimes. The mod adds enchants including Slimes Bane, which is especially effective against slimes and Magma Cubes, and Corrosive Strikes, which briefly poisons a target. Slimy Fish can be caught in swamps, and slime balls can be thrown. A configuration file lets players change various mod settings.
