    About

    Collections Of Optimizations is a performance and bug-fix mod that primarily targets inefficient code and issues in other mods rather than changing Minecraft gameplay. Its patches aim to reduce memory use and stuttering, speed up chunk loading, and improve client and server performance while preventing bugs and crashes. The project covers hundreds of patches across 191 mods, as well as vanilla Minecraft and MCreator-based mods, with examples including world generation and structure placement, rendering and animation, entity ticking and tracking, inventory lookups, and memory leaks. Specific fixes and optimizations include Dungeon Crawl generation, Dynamic Trees growth, Ice and Fire dragon targeting and rendering, Create block-outline raycasts, Farmer's Delight stove ticking, and Distant Horizons biome-cache memory leaks. Each patch can be toggled separately in a documented configuration file, and a master switch allows users to disable the collection for comparison or troubleshooting. A patch only loads when its target mod is installed, so unsupported targets do not add their patch classes to the game.
