    Craftable Enchants makes enchantment books easier to obtain by adding crafting-table recipes for enchantments, with JEI support to help find the recipes. For enchantments with multiple tiers, only the highest vanilla tier has a crafting recipe; after crafting a book, sneak and click to receive it. On Forge, a crafted book can instead be combined with a netherite ingot in a smithing table to create a Plus Enchantment, whose maximum tier is generally doubled, such as Protection VIII or Unbreaking VI. Plus books cover enchantments including Sharpness, Efficiency, Fortune, Looting, Protection, Unbreaking, and Riptide.
