    About

    Create Photomovement is a Create addon that adds solar-powered sources of rotational force for mechanical contraptions, from compact generators to sail-driven arrays. Its vertical Solar Generator produces 16 RPM and 16 stress units when it has direct sky access and sufficient light, while rain halves its speed; an advanced brass-cased version doubles its output, and both versions also come in horizontal, sun-tracking variants. Horizontal generators produce their strongest output when facing east in the morning or west in the evening, and nearby obstructions can reduce or stop generation. For larger installations, the Solar Windmill Bearing connects to Solar Sails or standard sails and generates stress according to sail count and weather, with sky access needed for solar multipliers. Solar Sails are translucent and available in clear and all 16 dye colors; they produce twice the power of white sails in sunny weather, 1.5 times the power in rain, and standard-sail power at night, in thunderstorms, or when covered.
