About
Create: Tank Defenses adds survival-crafted armor and defensive blocks for protecting bases, cannons, and vehicles such as tanks, planes, and ships from tools, explosions, and cannon fire. Its solid armor ranges from inexpensive plating for lighter protection to reinforced and fortified layers designed to withstand stronger cannon shots, while blast glass and cage armor offer more defensive options that retain some visibility. Reactive armor can destroy incoming projectiles through composite, explosive, electrical, or fluid-powered designs; the electrical and fluid versions need to be charged or filled, while their effectiveness varies against rapid-fire weapons. Other additions include bulletproof glass, barbed wire that slows and damages intruders, redstone-activated fire suppression, closable tank hatches, and external fluid tanks that hold 16,000 mB for vehicle fuel. Powderbags made from materials such as sand, gravel, or concrete powder provide inexpensive improvised defenses, with their properties depending on the material used. Armor materials include steel, titanium, and Plastanium, with Alpha Titanium alloyed from titanium and aluminum for crafting titanium armor. The mod is designed to work especially well alongside Create Big Cannons and vehicle mods including Eureka! Ships!, Clockwork, and Trackwork, but its armor blocks can also be used on their own.
