About
Dracolotl lets you hatch the Ender Dragon egg into a draconic axolotl pet that bonds with you and can follow you into battle or stay at home. To hatch one, place the dragon egg on a three-block-tall pillar, surround it with obsidian or bedrock one block from each face, put an end crystal on each surrounding block, then interact with the egg. Dracolotls can fly and breathe underwater; when badly hurt, they play dead so hostile mobs ignore them, and recovering grants Strength to the Dracolotl and its owner. Owners can use a bottle to collect Dragon's Breath from their Dracolotl, and feeding it a Chorus Flower has a very small chance of producing another Dragon Egg. Naming a Dracolotl “Hellkite” gives it a special Red Dragon skin.
