    DragN’s Livestock Overhaul: Pets is an addon for Livestock Overhaul that automatically replaces familiar pets with revamped models, textures, variants, and mechanics; it covers cats, ocelots, wolves and dogs, foxes, parrots, axolotls, and tropical fish. Dogs appear in numerous breeds, including Dobermans, Huskies, Labradors, Border Collies, Great Pyrenees, and Bloodhounds, while cats have breeds such as Maine Coons, Ragdolls, and Russian Blues; breed appearances can vary, and dog and cat breeds can reproduce with one another within their respective groups. Pets have Follow and Wander modes, and hunting or guard dogs can take on specialized roles: Dobermans attack hostile monsters, guardian breeds protect livestock, herding breeds move sheep, cows, and goats, and hunting breeds pursue particular prey. Some dogs can carry items in chests or harnesses, and breeds such as the Labrador and Beagle can collect animal loot; the Bernese Mountain Dog can hold up to 21 inventory slots when equipped with a chest. Cats come in varied coats, markings, and eye colors and may bring gifts while following, while parrots include macaws, cockatiels, and ringneck parrots that can perch on a player’s shoulder. Foxes can be tamed and bred, with breeding offering a chance of domestic colors or markings; axolotls have additional colors and markings, and tropical fish have more elaborate appearances and can drop roe that hatches into fry. Individual replacer options, collar rendering, gender indicators on collars, and cats’ gift-giving behavior can be adjusted through configuration.
