    About

    DragN’s Livestock Overhaul expands vanilla farm animals into a survival-friendly collection of more detailed models, textures, breeds, colors, and patterns, with animals converted automatically and variants shaped by breed and biome. It overhauls horses, donkeys, mules, cows and oxen, mooshrooms, pigs, sheep, rabbits, llamas, chickens, cod, salmon, bees, goats, camels, frogs, caribou, and uncommon mooblooms and rare unicorns. The added livestock produce new resources and foods, including cow, sheep, and llama cheeses, jerky, and fish roe that can be hatched into cod or salmon fry; sheep wool can be processed into wool blocks. Mounts gain practical abilities and cosmetics: horses can carry saddlebags and stay put when ground-tied, while mules, donkeys, and camels can be armored, and mounts can perform emotes such as Bow and Piaffe. Horseback riders can herd animals, and the mod also adds pullable wagons and plows for larger animals, with wagons used to transport players and goods. Many features, including which animal replacers are active and whether gender mechanics are used, can be adjusted through the mod’s configuration.
