About
Dragon Mounts Reforged lets players hatch dragon eggs and raise dragons as companions that can be ridden. Dragons grow, can be tamed and bred, and may produce hybrids; they can carry multiple riders, fly, fight, and use breath attacks. The mod includes eleven breeds: aether, amethyst, end, fire, forest, ghost, ice, lush, nether, sculk, and water. Players can equip dragons with saddles, armor, and accessories, manage their inventory, issue commands through a command wheel, and bind a whistle to summon them across dimensions. Breed-specific abilities give dragons distinctive effects, such as leaving fiery footprints, slowing nearby hostile mobs, growing flowers and grass as they move, deflecting projectiles, or helping their owners in water. Habitat scoring can account for a dragon's biome, nearby blocks or fluids, altitude, light, and time of day. Data packs can define purebred breeds, breath types, and armor, allowing creators to customize dragon traits such as appearance, size, breath effects, abilities, and habitat preferences.
