About
Enhanced Mob Variants adds cosmetic texture variety to vanilla mobs, making familiar animals and hostile creatures look less uniform without changing their behavior, AI, health, drops, breeding, or spawning rules. Its variants cover chickens, cows, pigs, sheep, cats, wolves, zombies, skeletons, and spiders, with examples including duck and midnight chickens, pinto and albino cows, huskies and golden retrievers, mossy skeletons, and tarantula spiders. Mobs normally receive a random look when they spawn; an optional uniform mode gives members of the same spawn group a shared texture, with babies inheriting that look, while random mode lets bred babies receive any texture. The mod uses existing vanilla mobs, applies its textures dynamically, and requires no additional mods or changes to existing worlds.
