About
EnlightenedBlockEntities is an unofficial fork of Enhanced Block Entities that aims to improve block-entity rendering performance by using baked block models in place of more demanding entity models. It also brings visual options such as smoother lighting on block entities, greater viewing distance, and the ability to toggle features like Christmas chests, while keeping animations that are needed for animated models. Resource packs can remodel supported block entities using conventional JSON block models, and the fork also includes an ambient-occlusion fix.
