A performance pack for players who want an OptiFine alternative.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 49 graded mods, 42 are graded A or B, 7 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 9 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Forgeulously Optimized is a performance-focused modpack for players who want an OptiFine alternative while staying on Forge or NeoForge, including when they rely on mods unavailable on other loaders. It uses performance mods such as Embeddium on Forge and Sodium on newer NeoForge releases, and is described as delivering FPS performance nearly identical to Fabulously Optimized, though results can vary by system and pack version. The pack also provides shader and controller support, connected textures through Continuity, and support for OptiFine-style GUI resource packs through OptiGUI and Animatica. Other included conveniences include dynamic lights, simple zoom, improved screenshots with Fabrishot, custom item textures, and miscellaneous fixes such as Model Gap Fix.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 9 Jan 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 12 Apr 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 48 of its 49 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of 44 of its 46 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 45 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 mod is not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
